I know there aren’t enough lights…I’m still looking for a pack of 1000 that I know my tree needs – 100 lights per 1 foot of tree.
Trying to get some inspiration from the tinternet was basically impossible for the look I was going for, so I’ve just had to wing it. Funny though…I always think of other things once I’m done…though since Christmas is only 12 days away I’ll leave it like this for now.
Here it is in more detail…
Home-made clay tags using native shaped cookie cutters…
Many an opened wine bottle…may I just say it’s not all from our own drinking! Mr C staple-gunned twine onto 134 corks donated for my cause from friends to help me achieve the look.
The rest were all bought in bulk from the tourist-tat shop…aka The Dollar King.
All those in South Africa reading this will be getting some of this tourist-tat when Miss M comes to visit at the end of the month ;-)
And topping it all off at the top we have…
…Katy, the hand puppet.
